ELAPCO signs distribution deal with KSA's Zamil Air Conditioners
UAE based ELAPCO to market Zamil's Cooline brand Unitary and Applied air-conditioners. |
ELAPCO, the UAE based Air Conditioning specialist, has signed a significant marketing and distribution agreement with Zamil Air Conditioners (ZAC) to extend the distribution of its Cooline brand of air conditioning products in the country. The tie-up with the leading Middle East and international manufacturer of air conditioning systems will enable ELAPCO to further its leadership in the UAE's residential air conditioning segment to now include an offer for the commercial segment of the market.
Commenting on the deal, Hasan Alami, Managing Director, ELAPCO Group, said: "The need for sophisticated air conditioning solutions is an ongoing requirement in the United Arab Emirates, given the sustainable economic developments taking place within the country and new construction projects which are being continually commissioned. The fact that the UAE is characterized by extreme hot and humid conditions, that it offers a relatively low cost of electricity and enjoys high per capita incomes makes for a very healthy HVAC industry.

ZAC designs, manufactures, tests, markets and services a comprehensive range of air conditioning products. These range from compact room air conditioners and mini-splits to large-scale central air conditioners, chillers and air handling units for highly specialized applications. As the largest manufacturer of air-conditioning equipment in the Middle East the company has a production capacity of more than 500,000 units per annum.

In fact, the Cooline offer will be enhanced by our existing investments in the UAE where we have an established regional sales office for Cooline Products Ltd. and through our Zamil Cool Care service and maintenance business, which provides support for ZAC and other leading brands of air conditioners," said Osama Bunyan, Executive Vice President, Zamil Air Conditioners.
